Happy 7th birthday to US!

It’s April, which meannnnsssss it’s the Meagan O Studio’s 7th birthday!!!! We’ll be running a special in our facebook group April 1st-8th! SO! Whether you’ve been toying with this idea for weeks, months or years, here’s your sign to pull that trigger, lady! And if you need more info, here’s one clients experience in the studio in her own words:

A new year doesn’t have to mean a new you—quite the opposite, in fact!  Meagan is an amazingly talented photographer, but that’s not the only reason why I chose her for my boudoir photos.  It was because she helps you celebrate exactly the way you are RIGHT NOW.

I had been following Meagan for years on social media and just loved how she talks about how each of us is beautiful inside and out—we don’t need to change ourselves to “earn” the privilege of having smashing photos of ourselves taken.  I had wanted pictures done to celebrate both a milestone birthday and achieving a big weight loss goal.  But I would have done the shoot even if I hadn’t lost weight—Meagan had convinced me I deserved it no matter what my body looks like.

I was comfortable with Meagan before I even stepped through her studio door and met her in person.  She is so genuine and exactly the same in real life as she is on social media.  So I had a blast at my shoot.  Meagan took my insecurities—mental and physical—and helped me see them in a whole new light: as things that make me unique and strong, not things I need to be ashamed of or change.  Plus, we chatted, laughed, and cried like old friends for hours and hours, and I found myself trusting her not only to take amazing photos but also as a temporary therapist!

I knew before my shoot how talented she is, but I still found myself the day of the reveal feeling a little nervous.  My usual motto with having photos taken is that all you really need is one fantastic shot and that’s good enough.  But, on the other hand, I was worried that I wouldn’t like enough photos to fill an entire album.  Like most of Meagan’s clients who feel that way, I was completely wrong—every single photo seemed like my new favorite as she scrolled through them with me!  In fact, I had to leave a few dozen of the photos I loved out of the album—but luckily I have the digitals of all of them. ;)

So, if you are thinking about boudoir photos, my advice is, just do it!  I promise you, you will love them and be so glad you did it.  I look at my album and scroll through my digitals a LOT.  They give me a boost every time I see them.

Good luck!  Not that you’ll need it.  ☺
