Meet Your Boudoir Photographer
Hi, I’m Meagan and It’s been a while since I introduced myself! Let’s see, what are the relevant stats? I’m 37 and the oldest of 6 kids in a family I ADORE. Boudoir photographer by trade for the past 9 years in Atlanta, but traveling worldwide. I feel like I’m filling out a dating profile, lol! :-D I went to the University of Georgia and double-majored in advertising & theatre. I have an impressive (or obnoxious, depending on who you are) amount of energy and positivity. I hate mornings, but once I’m through the waking up part, I typically have a huge smile on my face. :-D
I am incredibly chatty and LOVE getting to know other people and hear their stories. Yes, I really do want to know the real answer to “how are you”. I have a penchant for Bravo tv (give me all the Vanderpump, Real Housewives and Summer House!), a thirst for red wine or champagne and possibly own too many candles. I am, what I like to call, a “connoisseur of softness”. I will have the softest sheets, towels and blankets ever and I see every value in paying for that! So much so, when I was in middle school, I used my allowance to buy better bedding. True story.
I grew up acting since 6 years old and becoming an actress was my #1 dream until I discovered photography. I’ve been divorced and that was a really tough season, but I’m more in love with my life now than ever before. I love travel went on a solo 100 day trip around the world in 2022 to Colombia, Argentina, Chile, Peru,Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Iceland, Spain, Portugal, Montenegro and Greece. Left July 1st and came back October 10th. Best experience of my entire life and, no, I couldn’t possibly pick a favorite place. They were all so incredibly special. That same year, I did my own boudoir session with the wonderful Julie Socher!
I suck at art you have to do with your hands. Painting, sculpting, I don’t even have good handwriting! But I am incredibly artistic, which made photography a great choice! My go-to snack would have to be Cheese-its, salt & vinegar chips, Jelly Belly’s & Ferrero Rocher chocolates (which I have in the studio, obvi)! I meditate, pray and go to therapy and my life wouldn’t be the same without all three of those things. I have a deep desire to leave this world better than I found it and showing women how absolutely incredible they are, is one of the ways I get to do that. I could keep going, but that’s probably good for now! Besos, babes!
